We also offer a Grooms House Package. When you are hosting your wedding at one of the other fabulous wedding venues in Orange and Madison Counties. We provide lodging, food, and transportation to your wedding event for up to 12 of your close family and friends. Hold you rehearsal dinner under the lights of our ancient poplar tree. Kick back and escape the wedding madness in our large game room with pool table. Join the late night crowd around the fire pit at the stocked fishing pond.

Holladay House Bed & Breakfast
Intimate Weddings at the Holladay House
We welcome you to consider the historic Holladay House for your perfect place “to have and to hold” intimate weddings. We held our own small wedding at a bed and breakfast, and therefore understand exactly the meaningful experience our wedding couples desire.
Elopement Packages start at $500 to $1650 (depending on guest count, date chosen and preferences) and Wedding Packages start at $1850 to $7000 (depending on guest count, date chosen and preferred wedding package chosen)
The Holladay House boasts a comfortable and elegantly appointed parlor, perfect for an intimate ceremony. Couples with wedding parties less than 20 are offered a wonderful selection of Intimate Wedding Packages designed for a romantic and stress-free event.
Although our guests have raved about the top-quality vendors we have carefully selected, we will work with any caterer, florist and photographer of the couple’s choosing. The Holladay House is walking distance to hair and nail salons, fine-dining restaurants, a local tavern, gourmet food shops and gift shops.

Inn at Meander Plantation
Our Virginia elopement package is designed to make your big day an intimate occasion just for the two of you. When you arrive at our elegant Virginia wine country bed and breakfast you’ll choose from the many possible sites for your ceremony and check into your luxurious suite. Just be sure to bring your valid Virginia marriage license. We’ll take care of everything else.
We’ll make arrangements for a wedding officiant, licensed in Virginia, to perform your ceremony. We will provide a bouquet for the bride (roses and/or fresh flowers with ribbon wrapped stems) and a boutonnière for the groom.
Following the exchange of your vows, your intimate reception will include a white wedding cake for two, a beautiful flower arrangement, a bottle of Virginia’s finest sparkling wine and two flutes from which to toast your lovely day.
Relax until dinner, then continue your celebration with a romantic dinner prepared by our chef.
To finish off the memories, we’ll be happy to provide recommendations for top area photographers who will capture all the special moments of your ceremony, the kiss, cake cutting, and other candid moments. We look forward having you start your new life together at our beautiful Virginia Wine Country bed and breakfast.

The Boxwood Garden
The perfect ceremony space, the gardens are shaded by giant trees, surrounded by blooming shrubs and edged with century-old boxwoods. With tucked-away fountains and flower-lined brick pathways leading to the custom pergola, the gardens are a magical setting for ceremonies with up to 180 guests.
The Hall
A brand new space with coffered ceilings, a stone-clad gas fireplace and French doors with picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and manicured gardens. The Hall offers everything you need for elegant intimate parties for up to 52 guests.
The Barn & Ruins
Our modern, elegant version of a rustic fantasy, the big red Barn and adjoining Ruins offer 6,400 combined square feet of beautiful indoor/outdoor space. With vaulted wood beam ceilings, a stone-clad gas fireplace, automated temperature controls, dedicated restrooms and a warming kitchen, The Barn is the perfect setting for an elegant celebration. The adjoining Ruins are an added outdoor bonus. The enchanting stone foundation of antique bank barn, The Ruins remain tented through the Spring, Summer and Fall. Together these spaces can accommodate up to 250 guests.
The Rooms and Suites
To ensure your privacy, we require all wedding parties to occupy all the guest rooms and suites for a minimum of two nights. This will also give your party the complete attention of our staff.
Special Touches

Walden Hall
“This place is simply gorgeous. From the moment I drove up I knew that this would be the perfect location for my wedding and reception!”
Walden Hall hosts intimate elopements and weddings with up to 200 guests. Our garden and pond offer beautiful backdrops for an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception in the Banquet Barn. The Walt Whitman Wedding Suite is a luxury 4-room suite with a bridal parlor, dressing room and king size canopy bed.
Our Wedding Weekend Package includes use of all 8 guest rooms for both nights, full breakfasts each morning, use of all the grounds and the Manor House and “no limits” on how long the celebration of love lasts.
Grooms can prepare for their moment in The Club with billiards, arcade games, cigars and custom Walden Hall darts, while the bride prepares upstairs in her classic parlor.
Walden Hall couples will have exclusive access to the grounds and all five guest suites for the entire weekend. Gourmet breakfast is served each morning for overnight guests in our sunny dining room or on the front porch.
With extra accommodation nearby, daily activities for your guests including vineyards, hiking, fine dining and shopping, and plenty to do on the property, you’ll have everything you need to make your wedding perfect!
